How to Research Salary Ranges & Benefits for an Architect

"I bet you are wondering how much do architects really make? What are their salaries and benefits? Hi my name is Jena Hartman, owner of Promozone Live here in Florida. We are going to show you today how to research salaries and benefits for an architect. First and foremost if you know somebody in the industry that would be the first place I would check. With them you can ask what their beginning salary was as well as their benefits because sometimes they have a starting salary and they could have increased over time of working and having experience in the industry. Now if you don't have somebody in the industry the next place I would look is on line. You can go to a general search engine and in there type National Association of Architects or for architects. Their website is ncarb.org or another fabulous website that I like to go to is the Bureau of Labor Statistics. On there their website is bls.gov. They give you a description on the career field and most importantly salaries and benefits and remember depending on your experience level as well as your geographical area that you are located will depend on your starting salary and benefits so good luck.
