The eyes have it. How does body language effect a first date? This is Dr. Paul author of "Boomer Girls, a Boomer Woman's Guide to Men and Dating" and host of "Ask Dr. Paul". Often times when I have callers they ask about their date, the body language and I often tell them it's all in the eyes. And when people hear that they say you're right it's all about the eyes, it's what that person is looking at all the time because we hear the saying the eyes are the mirror of the soul. This person wants to read you and when they stop reading you they are not interested and you can take that to the bank because when that person is interested you can test them and here is how to test them. They will continue looking at you. You can watch the pupil of the eye. If you are wise on a first date get to the point where maybe you are sitting at the table not next to each other but across from each other and then watch the eyes. If the pupils of the eyes are narrow they are not turned on and if they widen they are interested. Another thing that you can do to the test the other person is look at the person and look away and then look back. If that woman or man happens to still be looking at you they are interested. You can do it again. If you want to be really rude take a look at your watch and if the person is still looking at you they're interested. Now that's how to reach body language on a first date.
