You want to first make sure that you are soaking the feet for at least five minutes, in any type of foot bath soak. You just pour it in the water, and you start to watch the bubbles. As you're soaking for five minutes, you can have yourself or your client read a magazine, and you can proceed on with the service. You want to make sure that you have on gloves. This is your table setup for a pedicure. You want to make sure that you have your toe separators, your pedi slippers, your foot file of your choice, polish, any type of treatment to include in your pedicure service. We're going to first start off with the pedicure service, and bring the foot out of the water, dry the foot off, and proceed on with the cuticle toe services. We want to apply our cuticle cream and softener to the toe cuticles. We also want to use our cuticle pusher, a metal cuticle pusher. This will help the thickness of the toe nail cuticle, you can push it back. You also want to consider using an type of exfoliants and creams on the foot. You want to next use any type of service, or implement, that will incorporate the foot pedal. You want to gently use it on the dry areas of the bottom of the foot. Remove it, and apply your cooling creams. These creams will also help keep the natural care of the skin, along with allowing you to produce a beautiful pedicure service. You want to end the pedicure service, with a finishing lotion. You can take the lotion and apply it, massage it into the skin, and relax yourself or your client. You then want to follow up with a polish. Remember you want to do the base coat, polish, and the top coat. I'm Jacquie O, beauty expert, and today we have learned how to give a pedicure."
