How to Determine Eye Shape

""You have beautiful eyes." Hi, today is the day that you have been waiting for. We are going to show you how to determine your eye shape. My name is Sylvia Russell. Now, determining your eye shape can be tricky, because there's many factors involved. So first thing is first is make sure that you have a mirror handy so that you can actually look at yourself. Our model here has a beautiful almond-shaped eye. When I say almond, I actually mean the almond nut; in the shape of an almond nut. Many women have this eye shape, it's a beautiful eye shape so let's go on. Now, there are some other factors that need to be addressed. The actual space between the eye, do you have a hooded lid. If you do have a hooded lid, your eye would come down like so; leaving less space between the eyebrow and the eyelash. Our model here does not have that. She has a lot of space between her eye and she has a beautiful space to apply eyeshadow. Now there are round eyes, moon-shaped eyes, there are eyes that are set wide apart, and then there are average eye shapes. Our model here has a very nice space between the eyes. Her eyes are not to far out to the side of her head and they are not to far in. So this is what I would consider an average eye. Now when determining your eye shape, remember have some family and friends around or maybe when you go for your eye check up ask your doctor what your eye shape may be.
