"Oh, we're going to put some beautiful highlights of dark brown in your hair. Hi. Welcome to the hair extension factory. Just kidding. My name is Sylvia Russell, and today, I'm going to show you how hair extensions work. Now, there are many different ways to do hair extensions. There's bonding and there's sewing and there's infusion and there's wigs and it goes on and on and on. So today, I'm just going to share a few tips with you to help you get the most natural-looking hair extension possible. Now, our model here today is blond, but I'm using a contrast color just so that you can actually see how it works. Now, normally, I would make a braid with this hair here, which would come across like so. Once you have your braid, you can then take your extension hair like so and begin applying it. Make sure you have your needle and thread like this, and then you would simply begin to sew just as if you were sewing up your shirt. Very easy to do. Takes practice, though. And as you can see, I created a knot. Now, this is something that you're going to definitely need to practice at home. Ask a friend or family member to help you. But once you do it, you'll be well on your way to giving yourself some extra highlights, extra length, or volume. Once you have your piece in, you can simply bring your hair down and voila. Instant highlights. Very pretty, very beautiful, adding length and texture to the hair. My name is Sylvia Russell, and this is how hair extensions work."
