"Do you have acne and are wondering what you can do at home to help that acne? My name is Keeley Selvage with Keeley's Skin Solutions. I'm going to talk about what a homemade acne facial is. The first thing that you want to do is make sure that your skin is cleansed twice a day. Then you want to exfoliate. Then I'm going to show to make a good mask that's going to help that acne. I'm just going to start with some water and we are going to use some baking soda. This is an excellent mask. I just a little bit of water. I have maybe one to two tablespoons of water in my bowl. I'm going to add some baking soda. Just enough to make a paste. So you are probably going to add about two tablespoons. There we go. The reason that is such a good mask for acne is because baking soda is a natural neutralizer. With acne a lot of times you have redness and you have inflammation. So, this is going to help to neutralize that as well as neutralize bacteria. After you use the mask you want to rinse it off with warm water. You want to keep it on for ten to fifteen minutes and rinse it off with warm water. You will notice that a lot of the redness from your acne is gone as well as it's going to dry out some of those blemishes.
