"Hello, my name is Eric White, and today we're going to talk to you about how to use HTML on Craigslist. Craigslist is really not much different than writing HTML in a notepad. You don't want to get very complicated. You can't use cascading sheets, you can't do anything advanced. But you can do page breaks, and....line breaks, and, colors, and you can make things bold. So, I went ahead and logged onto my Craigslist account, and now I'm gonna...I'm just going to fill out a job-wanted. Posting title, web designer, specific location Austin, Texas. Posting description. This is the box where you can use your HTML, so, web designer looking for work. Okay, like that it's just going to post just like that. Upper left hand corner, and you're pretty much good to go with that, but, you know, let's...let's give it a bold tag, which is a...a B inside a greater than a less than. And we're terminate that tag with another B, and then we're going to add a line break, which is BR for the tag. And what that does is it allows us to go to the next line so that, when Craigslist post the information, it's not all one line with word wrap. We're hard breaking the line so you can get to the next line. I'm just going to say "Please, please, please. I am hungry." And, what the heck, we'll make that bold as well, 'cause we mean business. All right. And let's put a couple more page breaks...line breaks in here so we have space in between the two lines. So now I can hit 'continue', and here's the preview of what it would look like. It's in bold, it's separated by three lines, and they're both...both lines are in bold. So knowing that you can use simple HTML tags and they're no different than Notepad...than if you did it in Notepad or Dream Weaver, allows you to have much nicer Craigslist listings, and hopefully sell your stuff. Now you know how to create HTML inside Craigslist."
