"Alright folks, in this clip we're going to work our way our way through writing song lyrics. Becoming a good lyricist is a lot like writing poetry because you are expressing yourself in relatively the same way, there's definitely a flow in music that obviously that has to be a rhythm and there should, they should rhyme the lyrics even though again music is large relative means of expression therefore it doesn't necessarily have to rhyme. But in order to write a really good lyric, one that's going to get stuck in peoples minds and hopefully become something that's catchy, that they can't get out of their head. You're going to definitely want to take the time to really craft the rhythm of the, the sentence. Like to sit down and figure out like how the words flow into each other not just the meaning of the the verse or the chorus of the bridge. But the overall bigger picture. Like create a nice little flow from sentence to sentence and get to the point where you've you've communicated an idea, a thought, a feeling on multiple levels. Like really sit down and dissect the tune from beginning to end and when you are able to do that you'll find that it connects with people in more than just a simple shallow, cheesy top 40 radio type of way. Because I mean let's face it, that type of song writing is really only about grabbing peoples attention for a limited amount of time maybe bugging some people but it's not what true great song writers do."
