How to Make an Origami Paper Box

"So you have a piece of paper but you really need a box, I'm going to show you how to solve that problem. My name is Robert Segundo and today we are going to make a paper box. Now as you can see here I have my square piece of paper and it's already pre-creased and to get to this crease basically what you want to do is you want to fold it in half like so. Then open it back up, then folded into quarters like that. Then do the same thing over here, fold it in half and then fold it in quarters like so. Open it back up. Now what we are going to do is to take and fold it diagonal right into those quarter shapes that we creased there. And you'll want to do that on all four sides. And this is what we are going to do, we are going to fold it in half again into this square shape we have here. Like so. Then since we already have our crease here we are just going to fold it over again. Like so. Now as you can see we have our crease here, what we are going to do is we are going to pick this up, and we are going to open these sides up as we pick it up. So it's going to pick up like this and as you can see it's going to form these two fins here in the back and we are just going to press towards the back like so. And we are just going to take our front piece and fold it down into our box just like that. Repeat it on this side here, we'll just fold this side up till these points are created here. Like so. And just fold them over the back. Like that. Then just take our front piece and fold it under into our box. And just got to work it a little bit. There you have it. Your origami box.
