"Your child's in school and he's having social emotional adjustment issues. I'm Virginia Intelisano, mental health professional registered intern with the state of Florida and I'm here to talk to you today about how to deal with your children who have emotional issues. There are a few things that you can do to work with your child, in that you need to keep a structured environment in your home. By keeping a structured environment, I mean to have consistent eating times, and times for homework, bath and bed. You can also set up a rewards system for your child, by giving rewards in the form of stickers or movie passes, food, etc. Basically to reward the child for doing good behaviors. A structured environment with good consistency and good parenting will help your child with the emotional problems. Also please be very patient, you might need to ask for support from your friends and family members in helping you raise your children. Keeping peace of mind and being patient with your child in knowing that they need extra time and consideration for certain things will help. If you have any questions about this please contact your local mental health professional or do research. Be safe and be sane, it's imperative and take care."
