This is Doctor Paul, author of Boomer Girls: A Boomer Girl's Guide to Men and Dating and national talk show host. This is important for both men and women, abusive personalities go both ways. A few indicators are as follows. Anger. Enjoying violent movies. Enjoying violent games. Laughing in movies where people are being hurt. Getting off on being controlling. Having an attitude of 'I'm more important than you are.' Criticizing your friends, and I'm talking about both men and women who may be close to you. Controlling children that may be in the household. Abusing animals. Making you feel uncomfortable in front of your friends and this goes both with men and woman. Having a very negative attitude toward people who are positive. Criticizing people for no reason whatsoever. These are just twelve indicators of an abusive personality, so if you want to cross someone like this, be it male or female, be certain that you have your red flags go up. This is Doctor Paul.
