"Hi, this is Liz Muller, from Liz's Hair Design, in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to maintain relaxed hair. And this young lady comes to relax her hair every eight weeks, okay. I don't want her to go ahead and relax this hair too often. At one point we've been natural. We also actually have let this hair relax even after ten weeks, but she can come every eight weeks because of her texture. And the way you maintain it really is by definitely just getting your hair washed and set weekly. Keep it nice and neat. Don't grease the scalp. Condition the hair, moisturize it; a lot of moisture, okay because it's relaxed and you've already stripped out some of that moisture. It's become porous, and it's you know, it needs more care. So, when it's relaxed it needs a lot more care. It has to be taken you know, time with. You want to go ahead also and get your ends in your hair clipped, okay. You don't want to keep the hair without clipping. And when you're treating this relaxed hair make sure that you alternate between protein and moisture mask. It's really good for the hair. Thank you. This is Liz Muller."
