Optimize a Computer: Install Spybot Spyware Program

"In this segment what we are going to do is we are going to install Spybot and one of the things that we are interested in doing is the internet is a fun place you can just get all kind of information but we always have to remember that money is the name of the game and there is always some advertiser or somebody who wants to find out what is going on to recoup their costs or whatever a website needs to recoup their costs so when you click on Windows guess what things do come down, back towards the computer that could be spying on what is happening inside your computer so you need a program that will go out there and find out where these things are and eliminate them off your computer so that is why we have a spyware program called Spybot. It is the one that we have chosen it is free and of course all these free programs if you are happy and you're generous you can always give a donation, you can look at that. Let's go if you in an earlier segment if you have a download folder and it is minimized let's click that back up and there is Spybot Program, let's double click and we want to run it. With most of these programs again since there is, and you can click continue and we want English, yes and next. Here is where the contract is and you can read that and accept and hit next. Go with the defaults and go with the defaults next and here is what they are going to say. They are going to create a desktop icon. They are going to create a quick launch and right here they have got permanent protection. Here is one for when you use Internet Explorer, that is kind of good and then they have this settings and you have to decide whether you want this T Time or whatever that is a higher level of protection for our purposes right now I'm turning it off. Then when you want to play with it you can go into the program and turn more on but at this particular point certain windows will pop up and you need to understand what is going on with that so just hit next at this point and then hit install. It is pretty quick. It will go through its steps and then we are multitesting again the antivirus program is still clicking in the background so we're getting good and protected. Now we are finished here and it says run and they are going to install a security center integration and they are going to activate the security center integration so just hit finish, those are the tests they are going to do and you can put your folder down again."
