When we are talking about wide legged pants that is often a very retro kind of look, kind of seventies kind of feel so it gives you a couple of options there. Chunky platforms are always a good option to fall back on when you are selecting shoes to wear with wide legged pants. Another option too are wide legged wedges. These wedges give you height and they also keep the looks chunky and it goes a little bit more with the whole retro feel. You always want to avoid wearing any type of flat shoes, either flat shoes, thongs, or sandals when selecting shoes to wear with wide legged pants because wide legged pants have a tendency to be extra long and so if you wear flat shoes your pants will just basically drag on the ground so that is why you would just want to go with a shoe that has more height be it the wedge or picking a platform and those are tips on how to select shoes to wear with wide legged pants."
