"Becoming a CEO if that's your objective. My name's Gloria Campbell and I'm with Advantage Training Systems and I'm going to tell you some ways that that can happen for you. The first way to become a CEO is to start your own company. I'm CEO and President of Advanced Training Systems Incorporated. The CEO basically has a responsibility of oversight and direction for a company. One of the other ways to do it is to start in a company or an organization where there's room for movement and upward growth. Normally that's not going to be in a small family type of a company. Join the company. CEO's have to have some very specialized knowledge. That knowledge revolves around financial matters, marketing and human resources. You don't have to know everything but you need to have the technique of hiring good people do, that does, do have those good skills. A CEO is that person that's at the top. They report to the board of directors. There the ones that determine what your profit sharing looks like and how successful a company it is, and what direction they're going in. You need vision. You need to have be a good judge of character. You need to be a good judge of hiring the right people and you need to have excellent excellent people skill. If you want to be a CEO there are a number of ways and a number of companies out there that are looking for you.
