"You are getting divorced and you want to know how do I find a good divorce lawyer. Hi I'm Robert Todd, and I'm here to help you answer the question, how do I find a good divorce lawyer. Well to begin with you may want to consider finding a lawyer that is dealing in family law, who emphasizes settlement through either settlement conferences, mediation, or some type of alternative dispute resolution who has your interest. In these days of high court cost and fees it can be very, very expensive to get a lawyer that simply goes with the proposition let's let the court decide. You may serve yourself well and spend a lot less money and have a lot less pain and heartache if you look for a lawyer that emphasizes resolving the conflicts and discussing with your spouse and their attorney if they're represented, how to best get this matter resolved.
