"Mom, let's write thank-you notes! Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling and I'm here to talk to you about how to get your kids to write thank-you notes. It is very important to teach your kids to write thank-you notes since they're really small. Receiving a gift, it's really going to be developing that sense of care towards others. You're going to be writing a thank-you note and the most important part is to help them have fun doing it. Make it creative and also let them do it in their own words from their heart. You can use construction papers, you can use scrapbooking materials. Try to use something that has things they can write on it. Not filling things, not just something typed and then have them sign their name. Try to actually make it most personalized as possible. Including a picture is always fun. Have your kid help you also making that thank-you note. That's going to really make it special and once they send it back to their grandpa or grandma or whoever gave them that gift, that's going to really show them that this is part of manners and this is part of life and it's really nice and it's really good to receive thank-you notes. I'm Hazely Lopez from Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling and always remember making it fun definitely helps."
