"Hello. My name is Luis Estrada. I'm a software developer. In this video I'll show you how to view and delete browsing history on Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is a registered trade mark of Microsoft; a company to which I have no affiliation. To view your browsing history click on the favorites button then select history where you can choose how you want your browsing history displayed. You can arrange history by date, sight and most visited sights. Now, let's see how to erase this history. First let's make sure that you can see the menu bar. In case you don't right click on the top of the browser and choose menu bar. Another way to access this is by pressing the alt key on your keyboard. Now select tools, erase browse history. Here you are presented with five options that you can choose from. You can choose to erase Internet temporary files. These are copies of web pages that you have used and are stored in your computer so that they are displayed much faster. In this case the browser presents the safe copy of the page instead of having to request and wait for the same page to be received from the Internet. The second option is to erase cookies. Cookies are files that web sites store on your computer to keep track of who you are and what information have you accessed on that site. A cookie can be used for example to keep track of the products that you have added to a shopping cart on an online store. Cookies can track which articles you have read or marked as read on certain forms or new sites. A cookie can also store log in information for web pages such as your email, your company or school account, your bank account, etc. So, this is important information you do not want other people to access it. If for example you log into your email account and forget to log out. Then another person that uses the same computer could access your email without having to know your user name and password. Here you see the importance of clearing your cookies if the computer will be used by someone else. The next option allows you to clear the address of the web sites that you have visited. Also you can choose to delete data entered into forms. Finally you can delete passwords saved by your browser, another important thing to erase if you're using a public computer. You can select to remove everything or just some parts of your history. Just click the appropriate button, press the option you want and then wait a bit for the browser to finish. If you have never deleted your browsing history this process might take a while. I'm Luis Estrada and I've just shown you how to use your web browser."
