How to Level Sideburns

"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you how to level sideburns. When leveling sideburns, you want to make sure that you always have a comb in hand because you're going to be using this actually be your level. You're going to want to pick a place on the ear. I know that not everyone ear is symmetrical and that's okay because you also would be looking at the person straight on to get an idea or if you can look at them in a mirror, that's great too. So, use your comb and find a spot where you want the sideburns to end. So, we're going to use just like the mid part of he's upper ear and so I'm going to trim that. So, I'm going to come up a little bit from there and use my comb as a level and just look straight on and trim that and then I'm going to go on the other side and do the same thing using the same part of the ear and I trim that and then I'm going to look straight on at him and make sure that those sideburns are even because like I said sometimes people ears are off a little bit and this side needs to come up a touch. So, I just come back over here. Use my comb almost as a guide and just touch it up again and by using my comb, it's also going to make sure their nice and straight because I notice men do them on their own and their either going up or going down and you can always tell when someone has done their own side burns. So, if they want them nice and level and straight make sure you use that comb as a guide and that's how you level out sideburns."
