How to Use a Hair Diffuser

"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you how to use a diffuser. If your diffuser fits on at the end of your dryer, which some don't, you're going to just want to attach it to the end of your dryer. If it doesn't, with, I'm sure there's plenty of you out there who have diffuser that don't fit. You can still use it. It's just a matter of you using two hands instead of one to style your hair. So you've already applied your products, your styling product to your hair, your interface product and you're just going to actually just weave the diffuser into the hair and then put the dryer on low. And you're just going to hold it there for about forty five seconds or so, 'cause you don't want the hair to be completely dry, you still want some dampness in it so that way the curl holds well and doesn't fall flat and it just holds a nice or curl pattern. So you're going to do that all the way around the head. And again, just hold it for forty five seconds. If your hair is on the longer side, you can just sort of twist it up and kind of hold that hair in the diffuser, almost like a cup. And you can also use the dryer, not only against the end of the diffuser, but all the way around the diffuser. And what that's going to do is that's going to add a little bit more heat and a little bit more air heating the curls here. You always want to make sure that your dryer is on low and the heat is on warm, 'cause otherwise if it's on hot, you actually burn your scalp. And that's how you use a diffuser."
