"Hi, I'm Ameilia, and I'm going to show you how to tease hair. First of all, we're going to go over the tools that you need. A teasing comb. That's pretty much it, and a teasing comb has got some extra little teeth at the base. You can also use a comb like this which has just got a whole row of teeth like actually three rows, but anything that's going to actually grab that hair and pull it down. Also, if hair is really healthy, it's not going to hold the teasing. So, you may need to use a little bit of hair spray to hold it in place or root lift. Basically, what you do is you take that hair; the section that you want where you want the volume. And if you want the volume here or you want that volume to show up here, you're actually going to be teasing back a little bit because yo don't want to tease right on top of that hair that you want or you're going to be able to see that teasing through there. So, you just lift it up, and then gently tease down, and you really only need to do a few, and then so you get that nice piece to stick up. So, if you have some hair there, that looks like a little rat's nest, you're just going to lightly comb that out, but you be careful because you can comb the whole thing out. And just by doing that, you can simply tease that hair into place, and you would just work that all the way around. Now, you would tease for added volume. You would also tease for hold. If you're wanting to get a piece of hair; just like stay out of your face, you can tease it over to the side, and that would simply be just as you're moving that hair, you just tease up the hair shaft, and then you can get that to stay, and that's how you tease hair."
