"You just left your boss's office and you got a bad performance review. I am Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida, giving you some ideas on how to survive a bad performance review. Look at yourself. Was it accurate? Did you really deserve what you got? If you did, than there is only one thing that you can do: make sure that it does not happen again. How do you do that? Take a look at the areas that you need improvement. Outline what it is that you need to do to get from point A to point B. Were you not meeting expectations? Take a look at what do you need to get or to improve your performance? In some cases, it may mean that you need more resources. It also may mean that you need some additional training. Maybe you need some support from your co-workers or your manager. Whatever you need, make sure that you outline a plan, you put steps into place, and you say to yourself, it is not happening again. I am Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems located in St. Petersburg, Florida, giving you the best way to handle a bad performance review."
