"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to install Microsoft Office 2007 on Windows Vista. If you have your Microsoft Office 2000 CD, just insert into your computer, and once that CD is inserted, your computer will come up with an auto-play dialog that will allow you to install the Microsoft Office System. Mine is loading right now. It might take a couple of seconds to pop up, but here's what you'll see. It will say auto play. It's going to ask you what you want to do, and we want to run set up. So, just click there. This launches the Microsoft Office Setup System. The very first thing that it ask you to do, is enter your product key. You can find your product key on the jewel case that came with your Office 2007 CD. It also might be written on the CD itself. It's very important that you protect your product key and don't share it with others. After you've typed in your CD code, this window appears. This is the Microsoft software license terms that basically goes over how you can copy this software, what you can install it on and what rights you have when using this software. To pass this screen, click on I accept the terms of this agreement and press continue. This is going to ask you what you want to do. We want to choose install now. This is the portion of the installation process, where it's copying the files to your computer and setting the necessary entries in the registry and going over everything that it would need to do so that you can use your Microsoft Office System. This part of the installation might take a few minutes. Our Microsoft Office is finished installing. So, what we're going to do here is click on close. Now, to launch a new Microsoft Office Document, click your start button down here at the bottom, go to all programs, and you will find the Microsoft Office here in the list, just expand that and here will be all the parts of Microsoft Office that have been installed.
