"HI. My name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to install a new hard drive in your computer. Now, many computers will have your hard drive facing at an angle that is toward the front of the computer. Which this is the front. This one's laying down. And it will just go in to a bay like this one. This computer in particular has a little drive bay that you're suppose to put your hard drive in. So I'm going to pull out that drive bay for this one. And to begin, I'm just going to take the computer, the hard drive rather, set it down in that bay and secure that with a screw. Each computer will be slightly different as to how their hard drive is set in and configured. But the general idea is typically the same. Now that our hard drive is secured in its bay, let's go ahead and make the connections. This is a seda connection. You might also be dealing with, in the computer you're working on, an IDE connection that looks like that. This particular hard drive is a seda connection. So we're going to take our seda an just plug it in. It's made to go only one way so it will pop in just that way. That is the connection to the mother board. We also need a power connection. Once that, that power connector is also made to only go in one way. So we'll just pop that in there. Now I'm going to place the tray where it should be for this particular computer. Sometimes you have to do a little bit of manipulation to get it to go in correctly. Now that it's in there, I'm going to secure it with a screw. There, now that we have our mother board connection and our power connection, we've changed out the hard drive in this computer. My name is Dave Andrews and I just showed you how to add a new hard drive to your pc."
