"Hi, my name is Erica Goms and I'm here in Salt Lake City, Utah. We're talking about MySpace on the Internet and I'm going to show you now how to make a MySpace layout or find a MySpace layout.. O.k., we're starting with an already open MySpace page, and so we're going to go the right hand side where is says, log in. You will log in with your email address and your pass word. and then hit log in. O.k., now you're on your MySpace profile page. And now what we're going to do is we're going to minimize this, go to the start menu, scroll up to Internet Explorer and we're going t search for MySpace layout. So let's go to www.google.com and then click, we'll go to enter like this, and then we're going to look for MySpace layout. and it'll bring up a lots of different web sites that you can look up. And so we're just going to click on the first one which is going to show us lots of different categories from MySpace layout. So click on MySpace layout, and now its going to pull up all the different categories. So if you look on the left hand side it says MySpace categories and there's a whole bunch of different genres and different categories, and so we're going to do butterflies. So go ahead and click on that. And now it's going to come up with lots of different profile types and lots of different profile, lots of different profiles that you can choose from. And so we're just going to choose this one, because this one looks pretty cool. Then you click on that and now it's going to pull up the profile that you chose. And so this is the one that I chose and if you scroll down a little bit more, it says, code for layout. You can either left click and highlight all of it or just go up to this right hand side where it says copy and click copy and it'll copy it automatically. And now you're going to minimize that page and then maximize your MySpace.com. Scroll up to where it says edit profile, right here on the left hand side. Click on that. Now it brings up your profile editing page where you can edit pictures and everything like that. You can change your name, your basic info, what schools you go to, who you work for, all that type of thing. And now always post your MySpace layout codes in the about me section. It will not work in any other section. And there's several different ones to choose from, but you can post other things there. So go right click and then we're going to scroll down to paste, click on that and then where it says, save changes go ahead and let's click on that. And now it's going to bring up a security measure or verification code and so we're just going to type that in real fast and that just verifies that you are the one changing it. And then you'll click on save changes again right underneath where you typed the code. Now it says profile updated right here in red. And so you're going to go up to the right hand side where it says view my profile. Go ahead and click on that and it'll bring up your profile and what it should look like. And you can always change this if you happen not to like it."
