"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a Life and Relationship Coach, and owner of NY Dating Coach, in New York City. In this clip, we'll talk about how to get out of a bad relationship. The first thing to know if you're in a bad relationship, is that you are so worthy of something better. You can find someone else, that will love you for who you are, and not put you in a bad situation. I promise you that, but you'll never have a person like that, until you get away from this person. You won't be alone, and even if you were alone, it's better to be alone, than with somebody who's going to treat you badly. If he's abusing you in any way, the first thing you need to do, is to reach out to your support system. Go to your family and your friends, even if you haven't talked to them in a long time. Believe me, they care about you. They'll be there to help you. Don't go through this alone. Reach out to them, and let them give you support in getting away from him. If you live with him, see if there's someone you can stay with for awhile. Find a support group. Go to an Al-Anon meeting, they're free, and they're in most cities, and really reach out to other people, and know that you're worth more than this, and that there are people that will love you, in a good way. I'm Donna Barnes, Life and Dating Coach, in New York City."
