"Hi I'm Art Malov from New York Dating Coach in New York City. And I'm the author of Park Bench Dating. In this segment we are going to talk about how to break the ice on a first date. And it's actually quite simple, what you want to do is, don't try to find some complicated topic. But talk more about what's happening. Say, Hey Jess how was your day? Good, thanks. Excellent yeah, did you do anything fun today? I did I went swimming. Excellent, so you see it's quite simple and she'll probably ask me the same thing, you know like it goes back and forth. And right away you are already talking about something that happen today, something that's current, it's fun or not fun, but it's you know what, it's current and you can if it's not fun you can change the topic but in general you know it's something normal, you just talking about it and if you don't know each other that well it allows you to connect on something initial. This is Art Malov and it was how to break the ice on a first date."
