How to Marry a Millionaire

"We're working on our relationships today and we're actually going to learn how to find that perfect person. How to marry a millionaire. My name is Joe Cuenco, I'm with Family Resources and today we're going to look at a profile of how we can actually find that person who is the millionaire. And not on Gilligan's Island either. You know that they say that money can't buy happiness but money can buy a jet ski and you rarely see people on a jet ski with a frown. But outside of that, if you want to be within a millionaires circle you really have to think like a millionaire and think about what they like to do. Where they recreate, where they entertain themselves, where they work, where they socialize and then actually be involved in that circle. You may want to become a member of the yacht clubs, of tennis clubs, of ski clubs, body clubs, polo clubs. Attend fund raisers, Charity events; get to be where the board members are. Wine tastings, high end restaurants. You really need to be in the millionaires circle. I mean you're typically not going to find this person at a bowling alley so you may need to adjust some of your habits, life styles or you or actually are visible at. And basically the Pretty Woman concept is really again just Hollywood stuff. From a tactical perspective you can look up who these people are in the who's who data base. There are actually some list services that can tell you where, by zip code where people have at least a six figure income. And so if you're thinking about neighborhoods to where to target to hang out you may want to use that as a resource. But again thinking about where you might run into a millionaire, think about where they actually participate. It may be fund raisers, charity events. Things that, that board members would be involved in and actually either volunteer, participate or actually try and meet these people at these events. The other things that you need to be aware of are there are various associations. There are CEO associations, young business entrepreneur associations, adventure capitalist firms. You really need to follow the money trail if this is what you're looking for. Remember money is not the only objective in, in life. The other thing you need to do is basically dress for success. You need to have culture. You, you need to walk the talk. But basically a millionaire is not going to want to engage with somebody that, that talks like they just came from the latest bowling alley. You need to be cultured. You need to have, be engaging to where a millionaire would be interested in, in you. So again, put yourself in the right circles. Act, act the act and also make sure that your engaging enough, attractive enough and also that you have a good fit for somebody to make that selection.
