"Hi good afternoon this is Aaron Hill at Fitness for Life in Wilmington, North Carolina. I'm here today to tell you a little bit about how to pick a treadmill. First things first, in selecting a treadmill we need to determine who's going to be the primary user of the treadmill. There are treadmills that can accommodate all sorts of people. We also need to take into consideration how much usage is the treadmill going to get. Is it just going to be getting light usage, or we are just going to be walking on the treadmill or doing some light jogging or in fact are we going to be doing some heavy jogging and running on the treadmill. If it's going to take a little bit more impact and get a little bit more work load you are going to need a more heavy duty treadmill. So those are probably the two major things. Number one who's going to be the primary user. Height and weight is the biggest consideration there. And two how are we going to be using the treadmill for. If it's going to be, if it's going to have to be able to take on a heavy workload we need to take that into consideration as well. That being said, we've determined what we are going to be using it for and who's going to be using it, we need to determine what is the quality that we are looking for. The easiest to determine that is very simple, learn a manufacturer's warranty. If you are going through several treadmills that are similar as far as price range is concerned find one that has a longer warranty, because that is, it's a tell tale sign that the manufacturer is number one, confident in their product and number two, for the most part those products will last longer. So those are some of the major things to consider but, again starting from the beginning it is important to understand who is going to be the primary user. Because that treadmill needs to be able to accommodate them personally. Everybody else is not a big deal. Number two, how much work are we going to be getting out of our treadmill, we are going to be putting on a lot of work into it or is it just going to be something we are walking on it or doing some light jogging. And then lastly quality. Quality is the last thing we are looking for in selecting a treadmill, the easiest thing to do again, the longer the warranties the more the manufacturer is confident in their product the longer it will last. And that's how to select a treadmill, my name is Aaron Hale I'm coming to you from Fitness for Life in Wilmington, North Carolina, thank you."
