"Hi this is Aaron Hale at Fitness for Life here in Wilmington, North Carolina here to talk to you a little bit about what to look for in choosing an at home elliptical machine. The first thing that is important is the person who is going to be the primary user of the elliptical machine, what are their needs, how often do they plan on using the machine, number two, heightened weight, very important but usage overall is probably what is going to be the most important factor in determining what sort of elliptical machine that you use. If it is just going to be for light usage you probably don't have to spend a lot of money on an elliptical machine. However, if you do plan on getting a lot of usage out of it and you plan on putting in a lot of hours on the machine you probably do need to look at investing a little bit more money into the machine. That being said, there are several other things to look for in an elliptical machine especially if you are having it in the house. People often times say that space is an issue so you have to find what is important to look for is finding a space in your home that you can fit the machine or find an elliptical machine that has a smaller footprint if the space is an issue. If it is a space issue you need to look for an elliptical that has a smaller footprint. All that means is size and how they measure the size of the footprint and how much room does the elliptical take up, that is another determine factor as well. But again primarily what you need to consider is how much time do you plan on putting into the elliptical machine. If it is going to sit in the corner of the garage or something like that and it is just going to collect dust don't put a whole lot of money into it but if you do plan on using it as an at home cardio and lower body work out machine. If you are planning on putting a lot of time into it it is probably best to go ahead and put a lot of money into it too because it is kind of a pay for what you get in the elliptical world of machines. Focus also on a couple of quick last things. Also focus on warranty the longer the warranty the better the machine. If the manufacturer puts an extended warranty on it it is probably a pretty good item. So that is another thing to consider as well. That is what to look for in an at home elliptical machine. My name is Aaron Hale here at Fitness for Life in Wilmington, North Carolina."
