"Hi, I'm Amelia and I'm going to show you a technique to do with a three-barrel wave curl. First make sure that you always spray the hair with some sort of curling product that's got some hold to it, because barrel waves tend to be a little fragile. You always want to stop at the top, or start at the top of the hair shaft, work your way down. See, I already did this front piece, and I'm actually not going to do all the hair underneath, I'm just going to do the ends. I'm going to follow around like this through out the head, triple barrel waving it. So I've gone and waved through the whole head, and what this does is this creates a nice S pattern all over the head. And I'm going to take a little bit of wax, emulsify it in my hands, and then I'm just going to scrunch it through. And what this does is this will give a nice beachy look. Those beach waves that are in, basically all they are is S waves with a little bit of texturizer in them. And you just scrunch that through, and that's a style you can try at home with a three-barrel waver."
