"Hi, I'm Amelia, and I'm going to show you how to curl your hair with a flat iron. First you always want to use some sort of thermal protectant on your hair. So, you want to lightly spray that all over, comb it through, and then just section out the piece that you want. Now, curling hair with a flat iron, it's all in the wrist. Comb that piece out, and then you go into the hair, it's going to seem awkward at first, with your wrist bent, then twist and slowly pull out. Then you just want to sort of bounce that curl up. Curling hair with a flat iron is going to give you a little bit more of a square curl than using a curling iron. So, again you just want to go in with your wrist turned, and slowly pull the hair off the iron. The faster you go through the hair, the looser the curl. So, if you want something a little bit looser, you can just grab your section, comb it, twist and pull, so you see a lot looser curl there. This ones nice and tight, and this ones kind of lazy there. So, you do that throughout your head, and you don't need to buy a curling iron, you can use your flat iron. That's how to curl hair with a flat iron."
