"Hi I'm Kim Haertl with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. We re going to build on our foundation and show you how to wear makeup for a natural look. A natural look just means picking colors that are right for your skin tone. Most of the time when we talk about a natural look we are talking about using colors that are neutral like browns, and bronzes, very light pinks and anything that just kind of blends with your skin tone. So we want to start with a light color all over and our big fluffy eye brush. We are going to sweep it all over the eye from the lash line to the brow, blending really well. We are going to take a lighter bristled brush and using our medium shade we are going to use light, medium, and dark and bring it in that crease just blending it, blending it, just in the crease and a little bit above the crease and using your big bristle brush, blend. Using your tightest bristle brush you are going to take the shadow and bring it along the lash line. Now in this case in the case of natural looking makeup we are not going to use liner, a pencil liner, we are just going to use a powder liner to just intensity that lash line. Again underneath with just the powder, a sweep of mascara. In this case because you want to keep it natural looking you want to get the lengthening mascara rather than the thickening mascara. Lengthening will give you definition on your lashes without making it look really really intense. The same goes with the neutral colors and the same goes with the blush. You might just want to choose a bronzer that matches your skin tone and start in the middle of the cheek bone, sweep it up, sweep it across your nose and on your chin. You want to give yourself a healthy glow rather than a look that you have blush. Center it in the front of your face. For natural lips you maybe just want to take a lip gloss and brush it on your lips. This is just a little dash of color just across the lips, liners are not necessary when we are talking about a natural look. So there you have it. That is how to achieve a natural look."
