"Are you one of those lucky people that has a fast metabolism? I bet you'd love to know how to gain weight with a fast metabolism. Hi, my name is Jani Roberts and I'm a graduate of the American Academy of Nutrition and a personal trainer. I'd like to share some tips with you today about how you can gain good solid muscle mass, even though you do have that really fast metabolism. First, you've got to remember exercise is still key. You may not want to do a ton of cardio but you still need to really work that heart and maintain good cardiovascular health. Secondly, it's important to get a good balanced diet. It won't work if you just eat a lot and make poor choices, it's got to be quality calories. So, we're looking at good complex carbohydrates, quality protein, not necessarily high fat, and we also want to have some good fat. This is going to be key because your body does know the difference. Good fats, bad fats, what are the difference? Essential fatty acids are going to be really key to you being able to maintain that good healthy weight. Those processed fats, the hydrogenated fats, they're really going to attach the metabolism and make it difficult for you to keep that on. So, keep that in mind, good quality protein, complex carbohydrates, that means high fiber, and also those good essential fatty acids. Those are your tips, I know you can do it.
