"My name is James and I am a Computer Hardware Trainer for InterConnection and I am going to show you how to install an external CD Drive. The first step is to take the USB connection. You want to install it into the back of the player. They only install one way so you can't put it in the wrong way. There we are. The next thing you want to install, the next thing it needs is power. So you plug that in here, the other end goes into the wall. Now all that we have left is the end that plugs into the computer. You take this just has this end, it only plugs in one way, plug it right on into the computer, fire the computer up and it should recognize the drive. Now if the computer recognized the drive right off the bat and it says that your device is ready to use don't worry about any software, just use Windows and see how it works and that way you don't have to complicate your computer with additional software. Now if you have any problems install the software. If you don't have a disc with your drive that is no problem. You can just find your model number on the drive somewhere, google it and you can probably find a download for the drivers. All you do is you google the model name, type in the model name and download and drivers, hit search and it should probably come up right up top. My name is James and I just showed you how to install an external drive."
