"My name is James, computer hardware training coordinator for InterConnection, and I'm going to show you how to clean your monitor. What you want to use to clean your computer monitor is a nice monitor wipe. These are available at any electronic store, they won't cost you very much and will do the job efficiently without hurting your monitor. This is especially important on LCD monitors because they don't have that hard glass that CRT does. They have a slightly softer membrane over the actual screen. So you have to be very careful not to use a napkin or a paper towel or anything else that might cause little scratches on that screen. So what you do, is you take your monitor wipe, you go at your monitor, and I usually like to go in up and down motion, cleaning off all the dust, and large debris off the monitor. Now, as far as the rest of the monitor, you can just clean that like you would any other household appliance, or you can isopropyl rubbing alcohol, or just a wet cloth. Now, we got all that dirt off the monitor, we have a little better picture, and of course, if you need to clean the monitor further and you don't get all that dirt off, just rinse and repeat with another monitor wipe. My name is James, computer hardware training coordinator for InterConnection, and I just showed you how to clean your monitor."
