"In this clip of Warrior Training, I'm going to talk about the jump rope because the jump rope is a very, very important tool not just in Kickboxing, but in boxing. One of the things that it does is it works on your coordination, your breathing, your cardio-respiratory. It also works on the interior part of your shoulders, your arms, abdomen, your legs and it's also good for your coordination. Oftentimes, many folks that are beginning to rope, they have problems in terms of coordinate in both legs together. So real basic step is just this. Now eventually, this is going to get really hard 'cause your weight is going up and down, so you want to learn to distribute the weight on both legs. Then, you can incorporate things like crosses to make it a little harder; doubles; you got the picture. The rope is so important, so oftentimes a good beginning workout on Warrior Training is three, three minute rounds with the one minute rest interval, then, eventually we eliminate the rest and we try to go for fifteen minutes to twenty minutes to half hour straight of Warrior Training Jump Rope."
