"My name is Dr. Endre Sos and I will give you information about how to exercise the rabbits. It is especially important on those rabbits that spend most of their lives in their cages so if you are back from home, give a good four to five hours for your rabbit to exercise. It means you should take the animal out from the cage and give it some free space to move around. This is very important because animals do the same in the wide so if they had not had the proper opportunity to exercise themselves soon they are becoming ill. But there are certain rules for this exercise, not just needing space and moving around. First of all don't leave the animal unattended because it can hurt itself. There is no instinct in this animal so what to chew or what not to chew so it means that they can eat poisonous plants at your home or they can chew the electrical cords so be aware of this fact and never leave them unattended. On the other hand you can use some so called environment endangerment which means the animal will have a good time which means if the animal likes to dig you can provide them a box filled with sand. That is good play for the animal and also good exercise and you can also provide some safe toys which are chewed by the animal but always be sure that there are no removable parts that can cause problems for the animal. This is also very important because these animals can have tooth problems so if they don't exercise enough or they are not chewing these will continuously and these will over grow and will cause a lot of problems."
