"Hi, I'm Charles Stewart Jr, and I'm going to tell you how to back up data from one broken computer to another computer. A good practice to do is you have a computer to prevent this from happening is to have an external hard drive that you might put your music and all your personal files on, so if your computer crashes one day and it's the hard drive that actually fails, you can retrieve that information by simply plugging it into another computer. Or even if you have a spare internal hard drive, you can pop that out and move that into the other computer. So, let's say for the sake of it, this computer has died, and it wasn't the hard drive. Let's say it was the Logic Board died, and you want to - you've got files on here you need to get off. Well, the best thing you can do is to remove this hard drive and put it into your new or other computer you have, so, it's pretty, you know it depends, I would show you here but it varies with every computer, so, if you just get in there and look at it you can see there's screws you unscrew and you unplug these, just make sure you're always that the power is totally off and you've pulled out the cords, you're not plugged into anything when you do anything inside a computer. And, I also make sure I always touch the case so you're grounded, so you don't transfer a spark from a static discharge. You remove this, and you'll move it over here to this computer. And there's, as you can see there's other bays you can put it in. And there's also other power cords that you can plug it into, and then even on your strip here, depending on what kind of drive you can plug it in there as well. And then once you boot the computer up, it should recognize the other drive. Granted you might have issues 'cause there's two versions of Windows and you might have to choose which version of Windows to boot up into, so you're basically just telling this computer to you know stay on the same drive it has been, and then when it gets booted up, you should be able to open up that drive and either take the information off, or reformat it and use it as a spare internal drive so you can, like I said before, save your files on that in case the operating system drive fails on you one day. And that's how to back up data from one broken computer to the other."
