"Hi! I'm Charles with ATX audio Video. Many people commonly ask me how do you prevent burn-in, on a Plasma screen T.V.? There's a couple common, easy ways to prevent burn-in on a Plasma screen T.V. One, whenever you leave the home. Make sure that you turn off the Plasma T.V. Another method is to set a screen saver on your DVD player or on your cable box or satellite receiver. Have it set to a screen saver, if you really have a program pause over thirty minutes. Another way, on some of the newer Plasmas is they actually offer a set up menu. That allows you to set a screen saver on the T.V. Where it detects non-motion of picture which is what causes Plasma screen burn-in. You read and select the amount of time. And the screen saver will automatically come on to prevent burn-in on your screen. And that is how you prevent a burn-in on a Plasma screen T.V."
