"This is financial adviser Patrick Munro talking about what are ethical funds. Mutual funds have various focuses in their mission statements and as of late with the green movement and various other special interest groups out there, folks want to participate and know that they are making money for their retirement from funds and stocks that are ethical in nature. That is to say they're not participating in anything that has to do with the sins out there so to speak, like alcohol, there would be no alcohol related stocks in the fund. Things like gambling of course there would be none of that in there as well. Things such as adult films or anything of that nature would not be in there as well. It would be things more so to do with green environmental, of course sometimes ethical funds get involved in quasi religious groups as well. So this is Patrick Munro talking about the composition of ethical funds."
