"Hi I'm Les Whitley. I'd like to talk to you about how to gain muscle while losing fat. Anytime that you are engaging into an exercise routine it is important to establish your goals. Most of us always want to have a nice lean overall muscular appearance to appear more athletic with less body fat and in doing so you've got to have a good muscular foundation which includes you adding a strength training program to your regular activities. In adding that strength training program the goal would be to see the fruits of your labor in those muscles becoming more defined and having a more toned appearance. That requires you lowering your levels of body fat. Through diet and exercise you can achieve those goals and results. The diet should be something that you feel comfortable with and can maintain long term. After all you don't want to just get lean for a short amount of time. You'd like to have that overall appearance for a full lifetime. In doing so that diet again should be something that you stick with which includes a variety of foods, fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, limited amounts of sugar and lower in fat. The idea is that you are going to fuel your body for a healthy active lifestyle, not doing something that is going to detract away from you achieving your goals. The strength training and overall cardio vascular training routine should again help to stimulate that muscle for maximum growth and maintenance while you are altering your calories to figure out what works best for you. Take time, consult the help of a professional to get the right advice to help you reach and achieve your goals."
