"Hi I'm Les Whitley. I would like to talk to you about how to create a workout schedule. Understanding your daily routine is very important in you sticking to an exercise plan and when it fits in. Some people may have the luxury of getting up first thing in the morning and contributing their time to an exercise program and others may have breaks throughout their day, others may have to wait until the evening hours. It really depends on what works best for you and how you can establish that regular routine. Fitting exercise into your schedule becomes a priority. You make time for everything else in your life but if you don't take time and make time for yourself and your regular exercise routine at some point there is going to come a time where that does have to become a priority. Hopefully it is before you have some kind of injury or some kind of ailment such as cardiovascular disease but working that into your regular schedule so that it becomes part of your daily routine will allow you to stick to it for long term. It is great to achieve goals but you don't stop when you achieve one goal. Set smaller goals continuing on so that it becomes part of your regular lifestyle. Being healthy, being active, being fit is a lifetime commitment, not just for 30 days or 6 months or until that class reunion, it's for the rest of your life. So be smart, work towards your goals but continue setting those goals higher and higher and further and further so at the end of the day it becomes part of your schedule just like waking up in the morning and brushing your teeth. You tie your shoes and exercise fits into that schedule as well. So take time to fit it in and make it work for you and work towards reaching your goals."
