"Hi my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist and I'm going to talk to you today about how to deal with a breakup. A breakup is a very painful situation to go through whether or not you initiated the breakup or somebody broke up with you. It is important first of all to get out your feelings concerning this breakup. Talk to your friends, your family, maybe a counselor about what this breakup means to you. This is probably something that you don't need to be told because usually people find that they can't stop talking about their breakups. In this situation it is probably best to find a counselor before you start chewing your friend's ears off about interminable tales of why exactly you broke up or why exactly you think the breakup happened to you. The other piece of advice I would have for you is to keep busy. Treat this as an opportunity to do things that you didn't have time to do before. Try to keep up with your friends, maybe take up a new hobby, go take some classes, concentrate on your work, finish home projects that you have been putting off for awhile. In other words make sure that your life is busy and that you have something to do. So the two things that you need to do in order to make sure that you get out of a breakup the best way possible is 1. to allow yourself to process the breakup and this is why it is important to talk to somebody about how you feel or maybe write a diary and the other thing that is very important is to make sure that the breakup doesn't consume you and this is why it is important to keep busy and try to find something to do."
