"H, I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae. And if you've ever wondered what a chair massage is, I'm going to tell you. Now a chair massage is a very portable, easy, mobile form of on-site massage therapy in which you can address a larger number of people in a short amount of time than a regular relaxation massage that uses a table. Now like a short history of the chair massage was the first chair was made in 1986 and it was made, it was made out of a wooden box and it quickly expanded into a massage chair. Now this was a little bit heavy, it weighed about 36 lbs, which isn't so heavy but after a long day of carrying it around, it definitely wears you out. It took about ten years, but in 1996, a metal version was invented and this made it much easier for the therapist to carry around everywhere and much more comfortable for the client because then it was added, padding was added and you can see my chair has padding everywhere. It's got a padded head rest, it's got a padded chest plate, a padded seat; which makes it very comfortable, padded leg pads and padded arm rest. And the good thing about chair massage is that you can really take it anywhere and it's very mobile. And there's many, many opportunities to use a massage chair. As you can see, this is a chair massager with the client can sit, with the therapist has a full access to the back. Now because this is a form of public massage, no oils are use. The client does not get undressed. And usually what the therapist will do is start at the neck of the client and work down the back on one side, then work down the back of the other and then of course, address each arm and hand. So that's just a little bit about the history and the uses of chair massage. I hope you've learned a little bit today and if you ever going to get a chance to get a chair massage, I'd recommend it. I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae. Have a great day."
