"Hi, I'm Sundae and I'm from Natural Sundae. And have you ever wondered what a massage therapy school is? Well I can tell you. A massage therapy school is a school specifically geared towards teaching students a wide modality or wide range of modalities of massage therapies so that they can go out and practice massage therapy on the public. Now massage therapy school range in curriculum, they range of course in staff and in experience. They also range in the number of hours offered and price. And they also range in what they offer you as well. Massage schools in Florida range from five hundred hours to almost a thousand hours and this can go anywhere from a six-month program all the way to year and a half. And of course the longer schools are more money. Now in massage therapy school, the three main things that you're going to learn the most of are anatomy; which is the study of the structure of the body, physiology; which is how all the body parts work together as one whole and then in hands on experience and this is actually one of the most important things because you're getting experience touching people which is a very new situation. It's kind of weird on your first day, you don't know anyone and then you leave and everyone's your best friend and you're crying. So it's actually a really good way to make new friends and to learn from each other. You're learning as a therapist, touching someone and you're learning as a client, receiving that touch. And you actually get massage everyday which is really great and it's a great way to release the stress that you feel while you're in school. So massage therapy is a wonderful, a wonderful school to get, to go to. You learn a lot about yourself, you learn a lot about the body and you learn a lot about life actually. So a massage therapy school was one of the best experiences that I ever had and I hope that you had a good one too. I'm Sundae with Natural Sundae."
