"Hi, my name is Reka Morvay. I'm a psychologist, and I'm going to talk to you today about understanding the moods of men. Men and women are both subject to moods, and I think it depends more on the individual rather than whether this person is a man or a woman what kind of moods they will have. So, it is best not to rely on generalities such as men have these kinds of moods and women have those kinds of moods, rather than understanding the particular person that you are dealing with. So for example, different kinds of people will have different types of of personalities and different types of moods. Somebody who's very social can become quite sullen and irritable, for example, if they have to be alone and by themselves for a long time. If you have somebody who's a solitary person, somebody who likes to do things by themselves, or needs time out then this person will probably become irritable and angry if they are forced to spend too much time in other people's company. So, understanding people's moods has more to do with understanding their particular personality and who they are, and what their specific needs are rather than whether they are male or female."
