The first thing you need to do is find a sample lease agreement like this here. This sample agreement you can get something like this, you can find it on the internet, you can go to an office supply store. This is basically going to be your outline for creating your lease. What you need to do then is redrew this template. What you are going to do is make any additions or deletions based on your property. If there is something in the lease that you don't like or something that needs to be put there, you need to do that. Then the next thing you need to do is after you've made your additions and or deletions, have your attorney look this over. This is very important because you want to make sure that you are protected. You want to make sure that your property is protected you want to make sure that everything in the lease is clear in terms of your legal rights and responsibilities as a landlord and you want to make, also make sure that your lease spells out what your tenants rights and responsibilities are.
