"To tell if car needs an oil change, check the dipstick, look at the oil. If it's really dark like this then it could probably use an oil change and this one's low too. Having a towel handy is really good to clean up everything as you go in because you don't want to contaminate the oil with any dirt. So depending on how many miles you have, around 3,000 miles would be ideal. A little more, a little less is fine, just depends on the tar of the oil how black it is and how low it is. If it had low oil, you might as well change it all at once anyway."
