"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you some easy ways to fix your laptop's overheat. Sometimes your laptop will just shut itself down and get a black screen, and it's really unexpected. A lot of times this is caused by your laptop overheating. So I'm going to show you some things to look for on your laptop. Now if you actually look at the bottom of your laptop, you'll see all these little areas here that have little, I guess you would say broken areas on the plastic, but these are actually vents. These are supposed to allow the hot air that builds up inside of your laptop to escape out of that laptop, and basically keep all the internal parts cool. Now another thing to look for, is find on your laptop, it's at the back here on mine, but there's an area in your laptop where there's actually a fan on the inside that blows air from your processor out and gets that hot air out of your laptop. On this on it's on the back. Sometimes if your laptop is overheating, a good thing to do is take a can of compressed air. You can get this at hardware stores or computer stores, and just really lightly just kind of blow in there a little bit, don't do long spurts because that condenses and you'll actually be blowing water or liquid into there. So just do quick little bursts of air into your fan area to make sure any dust that's building up gets blow out of there and allows the air to escape. Another thing to check for is on the area where you're using your laptop is it a flat surface? Because if you lay it on top of say a, some sort of cloth or carpet, that's going to build up into these areas right here and it's going to keep air from getting out. My name's Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you a little bit of how to keep your computer from overheating."
